Upcoming Terms of Service Changes Effective January 1, 2026

We are providing advanced notice of some changes we are making to our Terms of Service that will be effective January 1, 2026. We are making these changes to better align our policies with industry standards.
Our changes are about our invoice payment grace periods and late fees. Currently, we have a 3-day grace period before service is suspended and a 10% or $5 late fee (whichever is greater) is assessed and added to the late invoice. Effective January 1, 2026, these policies will be changing to the following: the billing grace period will be increased to 5-days before service is suspended and we will assess a 10% or $10 late fee (whichever is greater) will be added to the invoice starting on the 5th day. We found that most late invoices are paid about 3 days past-due so we decided to increase the grace period allowing additional time to pay an invoice, greatly reducing the chance that a suspension and late fee occurs on a holiday or weekend.
We've added a notice at the top of our Terms of Service page at https://www.nodespace.com/legal/tos highlighting the affected sections that will be updated.
Though our grace period is increasing, we felt that we needed to increase the late payment fee as a result. Remember, we understand that things happen and if you cannot pay an invoice on time we ask that you reach out to our billing team for assistance. If you have a history of on-time payments, we typically waive our late fee and sometimes even the automatic suspension.
